The action taken to local and national disasters is awesome but it's a damn shame that so many citizens take advantage of the sad situations.
I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill - there's always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.
This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys "angels" got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!

so Cliff, I'm home sick listening to Mona Lisa Cafe, thinking it's too bad after reconnecting with you in Amherst a bunch of years back, I lost touch again (inspite of the fact we both still live in the happy valley)...been too busy raising kids, I guess....on a recent road trip, actually taking my youngest off to college, he said "put Cliff Eberhardt on". (and this from a guy who almost exclusively listens to rap). I was happy to see evidence of having passed on at least a bit of my good taste in music.....Best to you old friend! when are you performing in the Valley?

Hey Cliff. As the former owner of The Club in Carbondale, where you played in the mid 70's, you have a long history. You and Shawn Colvin were great professionals that came out of the Carbondale area, and played at my bar. I currently live in Michigan. Any chance of a concert in the Detroit area? Have a few of your CDs, but would love to see you live again after 35 years.

Saw you are maybe coming to Indianapolis late next year for the Acoustic Cafe Series. Been a long time since you have been here. Can't wait...by the way, David Wilcox appeared last Saturday night in the same series...he did an amazing version of "The Long Road"...that is a phenominal song. I am buying the CD today simply because I heard that the other night, and I did not realize you had a new one out. I have a couple of the Red House CD's...they are great also. See you soon I hope. Looking forward to the CD.
